HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) is a cutting-edge solution for achieving younger-looking skin. This revolutionary treatment utilizes ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen production, effectively reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging.
Forget about facelifts and invasive procedures. HIFU offers a painless and non-invasive alternative for skin tightening. By gently heating the tissue through ultrasound energy, targeted cells experience cellular damage, triggering a natural collagen boost. Collagen, the essential protein that gives structure to the skin, results in tighter, firmer skin with fewer wrinkles.
Unlike other treatments, HIFU's high-frequency ultrasound beams focus exclusively on the tissue site below the skin's surface. This ensures zero damage to the upper layers of the skin or adjacent tissue, guaranteeing a safe and comfortable experience.
While HIFU is unsuitable for everyone, it is most effective for individuals over 30 with mild-to-moderate skin laxity. Those with photo-damaged skin or noticeable sagging may require multiple sessions to achieve the desired results. Individuals with extensive photo-aging, severe skin laxity, or significant sagging on the neck may find alternative surgical options more appropriate.
However, it is vital to note that HIFU is not recommended for individuals with infections, open skin lesions in the target area, severe or cystic acne, or metallic implants in the treatment area. Additionally, it is not advisable for use during pregnancy.

Is HIFU non-surgical skin tightening and facelift safe for me?
HIFU works to tighten the muscles that can lift jowls. HIFU is designed for more mature skin but can also be suitable for younger skin types. We recommend you visit us for a consultation with our trained specialist to determine if this treatment is proper for you.
How many treatments do I need?
The number of treatments required depends on age, skin quality, and health. HIFU is a fantastic new technology that can deliver results in as little as one session.
What results will I expect to see after my treatment?
Immediately after your treatment, you may notice that your skin is firmer and its texture is lifted. It can take up to 4-6 weeks and even three months for the full effect of the treatment to kick in, and you will see a dramatic improvement in your facial contouring and a visible reduction in fine lines and wrinkles.
We found a good video on YouTube that explains how many HIFU treatments you need to see a result, how long it takes to see the results, and how long the effects last: https://youtu.be/49a-4IaqvFQ.
How long do I wait before I can have another HIFU treatment?
It would be best to wait 4 to 12 weeks between treatments to allow the HIFU facial rejuvenation and lift to take effect fully.
Can I combine HIFU with injectables (Botox and fillers)?
Yes, you can, but we recommend you speak with our specialist before booking additional treatments with HIFU to follow the correct protocol and waiting periods between treatments.
HIFU, or High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound, has been used for decades to treat severe medical issues like prostate cancer. More recently, however, the FDA has approved it for brow lifts & minimizing lines and wrinkles around the neck and décolletage. The use of HIFU to perform overall facial tightening, lifting & body contouring has not yet been approved by the FDA. There are no HIFU-specific regulations for technicians performing in the US, as it is very new to the cosmetic industry. And, as always, regulations take a bit of time to catch up with technology.
HIFU for fat reduction uses heat. It destroys the fat cells in a specific target area like the stomach or the thighs. If you want to combine fat reduction and muscle-building results, please check out the EMS (Electromagnetic Sculpt) + 360 Cryolipolysis treatments.
HIFU for tightening boosts collagen and elastin growth for tighter and firmer skin.
Prices for HIFU treatments will depend on the area we’re targeting as well as the skin’s current condition. If you’d like more specific information, feel free to book a consultation.
This is not a weight-loss treatment but a tightening treatment. We recommend combining it with a healthy diet, infrared sauna, and exercise for the best results. Permanent fat loss improves skin texture and body shape, toning, and firming.

PRE HIFU SKIN TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
👉Avoid sun exposure and sunless tanning. Sunburned or tanned skin will not be treated.
👉 All skin irritants must be stopped (glycolic/ salicylic acids, benzoyl peroxide, retinol products such as Retin-A, Tazorac, Triluma, Differin, and Vitamin C serum) on the area being treated three days before treatment.
👉 Let us know if you are taking antibiotics. Certain antibiotics (Tetracycline, Doxycycline) can make a patient photosensitive; therefore, treatment may not be able to be done until two weeks after completion of the antibiotic.
A day before treatment:
👉 Please let us know if you have a history of cold sores/fever blisters before treatment so that antiviral medication can be prescribed. Treatment cannot be done if you have an active cold sore or skin infection and will be rescheduled.
👉 You can take over-the-counter pain relievers, such as acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil), a couple of hours before HIFU treatment. You may experience slight discomfort during a HIFU procedure. Some people describe it as tiny electric pulses or a light prickly sensation.
